Would it be okay if I went swimming in a lake a day after getting my snakebite piercings?

I just got my snakebite piercings done yesterday. however, one of my friends is hosting a birthday party today where we'll all be swimming in a lake or some sort and I was wondering if it would be okay to go swimming and simply wash my piercings out with salt water afterwards. Instant yet thorough feedback would be great. Thanks!
