How good is home made food for my puppy?

Cookie is a 4 months' old griffon female puppy. I started feeding her with kibbles. I tried several brands, cheapest to most expensive but she's not a good eater. Only plays with the food..and am worried that she is not eating as much as she should. She got sick from one type of kibble food, so I started home made food, vegetables, chicken and rice. She enjoys the food and begs for more. How good is this? can I feed my dog home made food all the time. She refuse kibbles totally now, since she tasted the home made food. I live in Mauritius, where many of my friends griffon eat home made food. Thanks for helping me out with my new puppy. :)
