Question about feeding schedule for puppy?

I just got my puppy yesterday and I'm trying to put him on a feeding schedule. I just fed him at 8 this morning and plan on feeding him at 12 again. After that when should I feed him next? Also, the breeder did not have him on a feeding schedule, she just told me to leave food out. He just eat a few kibble every time I feed him. He's a Yorkie and they are prone hypoglycemia so would leaving food out be better? Also, he's had his first shots, can I take him for a walk? His vet appointment isn't til Saturday.
