Feeding my dog Orijen Adult 80/20?

I switched my 3KG Toy Poodle, who is 11 months old, from science diet for puppys (27% protein, 19% fat) to Orijen Adult kibble (38% protein, 17% fat). Does anyone have any comments or advice about this Origen food and/or giving such a high protein diet (somewhat High fat) to a 3KG dog. He seems to love the food! On the science diet he was experiencing allergies from it, part of the reason why I changed the diet. Thanks.
