Help with hooking an amp to some new subs?

Ok so i have a kicker zx400.1 amp that i had hooked up to some kicker cvr 10s. i got best buy to hook it up for me. since then, one of the kickers cracked and the other one is straight up blown. so today i bought some new subs already in a box. they are rockford fosgate punch hx2. now when i had the amp hooked up to my kicker subs, the guys at best buy had a wire that ran between the two inner ports which were + - and then had two other wires running from the outer ports (+-) and the amp. so now i have these new subs that have 4 ports(++- -) but only two wires running from my amp. what should i do? is there a way to cut the 2 wires into 4 so i can hook it up that way? or am i gonna need to get new wires? any feedback will be greatly appreciated
